Beaches and Rocky Coast

Bridgewater Mirror

One of my favourite Mornington Peninsula location to return to time and time again Bridgewater Bay shows me something new each and every time.

While high tide, especially when the swell is up, can provide spectacular power in the water I prefer to visit at near low tide. When the tide is out dozens of little nooks and crannies in the rock shelf are revealed. This gives me so many different foregrounds to work with.

Then, when mother nature puts on a show in the sky, the pools of still water create beautiful mirrors to double up the drama above.

This 3:1 crop of the original capture draws the eye to the arch, making her the star of the show.
